Layout of Kampus Coworking

Description

Kampus Coworking, an innovative shared workspace, aimed to rethink the traditional work environment by integrating a strong community and cultural dimension.

The project consisted of designing coworking offices that would not only serve as workspaces but also as venues for events and shows, creating a dynamic ecosystem for professionals.

To achieve this vision, Kampus Coworking sought the expertise of Fer Forgé Montréal, recognized for its know-how in personalized metal solutions.

Client Goals
Kampus Coworking's main objectives for this project were:

  • Create a versatile coworking space that can easily be transformed to host events and shows.
  • Ensure the safety and functionality of the space thanks to robust and aesthetic metal installations.
  • Bringing an industrial touch to interior design to reflect the innovative and creative spirit of the coworking community.

Work carried out by Fer Forgé Montréal
To meet these specific needs, Fer Forgé Montréal has developed and implemented several key solutions:

Manufacturing and installation of a raw steel staircase and platform
These elements have been designed to provide maximum flexibility in the use of space, allowing an easy transition between the work environment and the event space. The use of raw steel added a unique aesthetic dimension, in line with the desired industrial design.

Installation of raw steel guardrails
To complete the staircase and the platform, raw steel guardrails were installed, guaranteeing the safety of users while maintaining the industrial aesthetic of the place.

Supply and installation of a Corten canopy and facade
The exterior of the building was upgraded with the addition of a canopy and a facade made of Corten steel, a material known for its durability and its distinctive rusty appearance which improves over time. This not only strengthened the visual identity of Kampus Coworking but also provided effective protection against the elements.
